I am obsessed by the Guardian’s incredible Blind Date column, which I pretend I loathe but obviously I love it. Aren’t you? Don’t you? Why ever not?

Do you know how the people get selected to be set up for a blind date?
Yes, they apply to be on it via email and are then kept on file until a suitable match can be found – sometimes it takes days, sometimes months. (I don’t work for the Guardian and have nothing to do with this selection process.)

Quite disappointed you missed our on 2nd Sept 23. You said there should be more older people and we are that. Our 3rd date was an unexpected week in Rome btw!
