I’m thrilled to get the opportunity to do events and programmes and all kinds of stuff, both as part of the promotion for The Last Romeo and also just because I love meeting readers and talking about things (myself).
I do lots of radio, too, so if you’d like me to come on your show and do something, let me know.
Here are events you can find me, or media appearances, in 2019.
8: Stoke Newington Literary Festival
Very excited to be back at Stokey LitFest, the first festival I did as a published author! This year I’m taking part in a special popup Polari Salon, hosted by Paul Burston, with VG Lee and Tom Rasmussen. It’s at 8pm on the Saturday and there is a BAR in the venue – the Old Church, which is gorgeous – and it will be amazing. COME!TICKETS AND MORE INFO
13: The Riff Raff June Meetup
I will be co-hosting the June meetup of the Riff Raff, a community for aspiring actors and people who love new writing that celebrates debut authors. I was actually one of those debut authors exactly a year ago, so to return and hist with founder Amy Baker will be a big THRILL. Authors appearing that night will be: Alex Michaelides, author of The Silent Patient, Sara Collins, author of The Confessions of Frannie Langton, Harriet Tyce, author of Blood Orange, Claire McGlasson, author of The Rapture, Gareth Rubin, author of Liberation Square. It’s £10 and it’s a fantastic evening.TICKETS AND MORE INFO
4: Pride in Writing at Waterstones, Piccadilly.
An evening of conversation, celebrating the work of LGBTQ+ authors in Pride Week, covering life writing, gender fluidity, queering genre, and making history. Featuring a range of panel events, I’ll be on with Niven Govinden, Luke Turner, and Rowan Hisayo Buchanan and we’ll all be talking about our memoirs. I mean, my book isn’t actually a memoir but I’m not going to argue.
